A group of high school students in Ohio have taken the art of free throw distractions to a whole new level after staging a birth right behind the basket.

Sheridan High students in Thornville, Ohio – a rural area east of Columbus – were caught on camera during a recent basketball game pretending to give birth to another fan as the opposing team attempted a free throw.

The opposing player missed his shot shortly after the “doctor” pulled out the “baby.”  The crowd cheered and continued to giggle about what they had just pulled off.

The video was originally posted Wednesday on 桑拿会所 and quickly went viral.

“Tough to shoot free throws in the delivery room,” Chris Collinsworth tweeted.

The NFL commentator was just one of a long list of notable sports figures to share the video. ESPN’s Darren Rovell called the moment “the best opponent free throw distraction of all time” while NFLPA President and Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle Eric Winston said it was the “best ever.”

The student group that pulled off the stunt call themselves The Red Regiment. There’s no word on what they’ve named their man-child and hopefully, at the very least, their student debt doesn’t interfere with daycare payments.
